Experimental Intelligence Lab

socius is an independent research lab supported by the London School of Economics (LSE) and LSE Generate. We bridge human sciences and artificial intelligence through two parallel research streams: applying insights from human sciences to enhance AI systems, and leveraging AI as a platform to run human theories at scale.

We have a theory: Intelligence is too weird for one field to understand.
So we experiment at the intersections — between every field that ever studied "thinking" and every machine that's trying to "think".
